    Description

    The Cardiovascular Unit of the University of Vermont Medical Center and the Department of Medicine of the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont seeks a BC/BE cardiologist. This position will be an Assistant/Associate Professor on the Clinical Scholar Pathway. We are seeking a candidate who has a background and interest in general cardiology. The position will entail ambulatory and inpatient care of patients requiring cardiovascular care at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (CVPH, 95%). Clinical effort will include interpretation of noninvasive studies (including stress tests and echocardiograms), ambulatory clinic, and cardiology consultation for inpatient services at CVPH as well as outreach sites. Teaching effort (5%) that will include education of medical students (community cardiology rotation) as well as family medicine residents. Participation in appropriate hospital, departmental or University service activities.
