    The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) function is pivotal in aligning strategic human resources expertise with S&C's business needs.

    Serving as strategic partners to the business, the HRBPs function collaborates with leaders to shape HR strategies while partnering with the Centers of Excellent (COE) in the implementation of talent management, workforce planning, and organizational development activities.

    Simultaneously, the department prioritizes a forward-thinking approach to team member relations, proactively engaging with team members and management to address issues, ensuring fair resolutions, and fostering a positive work environment.

    With a commitment to enhancing the overall team member experience, the HRBP department plays a central role in driving organizational success.


    The Senior Manager - Human Resources (Corporate Functions)at S&C plays a crucial role in crafting and executing HR strategies tailored specifically for corporate functions of the business, including the support of global location.

    Reporting to the Director - US Human Resources, this position requires a seasoned HR professional with a focus on enhancing team member relations, fostering inclusivity, and driving excellence within global HR function.

    Responsibilities

    Strategic Partnership in

    Global Corporate Functions:


    Develop and implement HR strategies that address the needs of S&C's corporate functions, partner with the COE's to ensure effective organizational practices are in place.

    Work with the Director - US Human Resources to cater the overall S&C human capital strategy to the needs of S&C's corporate functions globally, building strong relationships with leaders.


    Talent Consulting :

    Collaborate with leaders and partner with the COEs on talent management, workforce planning, succession planning, skills assessment, total rewards, and talent acquisition to support organizational structure, ensuring a consistent flow and upskilling of talent within each team.


    Global HR Functions Support:
    Act as the primary touchpoint and partner for global HR representatives.

    Ensure the voice and needs of the global workforce are heard in strategic planning discussions, helping to ensure policy and program considerations are inclusive of both US and non-US business units.

    Ensure global HR functions are set up to deliver best-in-class service to internal customers.


    HRBP Development:


    Partner with the Director - US Human Resources to create and implement development plans for the HRBP function to effectively support the production operations team.

    Identify and address skill gaps within the HRBP team, focusing on workforce planning, organizational development, talent management, data judgment, and strategic consulting.

    Ensure development activities are aligned with corporate function goals and coupled with a growth mindset that encourages constant development within the function.


    Stakeholder Engagement:


    Serve as an ambassador for the HR function, fostering partnerships with business leaders and department heads to gather insights and support for HR initiatives.

    Ensure alignment and integration of HR programs with the evolving needs of the organization.

    Team Member Relations &

    Program Development:

    Oversee the team member investigation process and provide guidance on complex employee relations issues, collaborating with leadership and legal teams.

    Proactively engage with the workforce and leadership to assess needs and identify opportunities for enhancing HR programs.


    Budget Management:
    Support the management of the HR budget, ensuring accuracy and appropriate allocation of resources to achieve departmental objectives.


    Thought Leadership:


    Offer direction and thought leadership in the field of human resources, staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, and innovative solutions to continuously elevate the HR function within the organization.


    Compliance :
    Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules.

    Education & Minimum Qualifications

    Required

    Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.

    Preferred

    Master's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.

    Skills, Knowledge, & Experience

    Required


    5-7 years of demonstrated experience in successfully leading an HRBP/ Employee Relations function, designing comprehensive HR programs specifically catered to address the needs of a diverse workforce.


    Demonstrated experience supporting the needs of a global workforce, including working with international HR partners to develop, implement, and evaluate policies and programs.

    Track record of translating strategy into action, delivering sustainable business results through best-in-class people practices.


    Strong leadership skills with an ability to lead, guide, motivate, and delegate to deliver results, build teams and capabilities, embrace change, drive decisions and results, and exhibit integrity.


    Excellent understanding of employee relations principles, best practices, and legal requirements, with the ability to lead complex investigations and facilitate effective resolutions.


    Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills, coordinating internal and external resources, creative problem-solving when obstacles arise, and juggling a heavy volume of diverse projects, including both strategic and tactical assignments.


    Exceptional interpersonal skills to establish meaningful relationships built on mutual trust and respect, navigate and resolve conflict, moderate behaviors, and foster collaborative working relationships amongst a diverse audience.

    Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, listening, and presentation).

    Able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, from senior executives to support staff, and present compellingly to achieve buy-in from executives, managers, and team members.


    Strong business acumen and analytical skills with the ability to use and analyze data to drive informed decisions, problem-solve complex issues, and leverage data and learnings to drive continuous improvement.

    Sound financial acumen and numerical ability to manage budgetary resources to maximum effectiveness.

    Skilled at navigating through ambiguity and leading teams and organizations through change.
