    Desktop Support TechnicianDuration : 6 months (possibility of extension)

    Location:
    Chicago, IL 60606, USA (Onsite fully)This is an Onsite role
    This is a desktop contractor that will need to be on-site 5 days a week to help with projects and other desktop support items
    NOTES From Manager:


    5 years Desktop Support ExperienceNot necessary finance background (PREFERRED, can train on that part, if has good relevant working experience on Desktop support)Strong in troubleshooting, team player attitude, good comms.

    Intune, supporting mobile devices .Office 5 days onsite.

    Finance exp preferredThe Desktop Support Technician role presents an opportunity to solve problems of moderate to high complexity without help and escalate very complex problems to more senior staff.


    Specific responsibilities include:
    Provide technical support for users of desktop hardware and software; users can be in remote locationsTroubleshoot application issues including viruses, hard disk diagnostics and file repair, data encryption, and SMS reportingTroubleshoot printers and copier interfacesTrack and resolve incidents and requests in an incident management systemPerform a variety of support activities including inventory and coordination with outside technology vendorsWork overtime hours, weekend hours and on-call hours as requiredSkills and experience required:Bachelor's degree preferredTwo-four years of experience configuring, installing, troubleshooting and repairing printers, PC and laptopsStrong technical knowledge of Windows 7 and 10, Microsoft Office products, Market Data Applications (ex. Bloomberg) and telephony systemsProficiency in troubleshooting desktop computer issues, both hardware and softwareExperience with supporting mobile devicesIn addition, the ideal candidate will be or haveExcellent customer services skillsExcellent communication skillsTeam player attitude#J-18808-Ljbffr
