This position is for a Mechanical Construction Engineer with a background in large-scale industrial construction.

Must Haves:

5+ years of experience within mechanical equipment

Pumps, agitation, bulk material handling equipment

Design reviews, inspections, inspecting off site and onsite equipment

Reviewing equipment and designs

Any piping background is a HUGE PLUS

Degree in engineering

EIT or PE (plus)

5+ years of relevant industry experience (heavy industrial, oil & gas, complex chemical plants is the sweet spot

Previous experience on $200M+ projects, preferably with experience on both "owner" and "contractor" side

Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills are a must

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications

High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage, and scheduling software (Primavera P6)

Proven ability to identify field issues and propose efficient solutions

Willingness to spend a high percentage of time in the field and to get hands dirty as needed to complete objectives or find the correct information

Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goal
