BayCare Clinic Ear, Nose, and Throat is looking for an Audiology Assistant to join our team in Two Rivers, WI. We're looking for a compassionate, thoughtful candidate who wants to contribute to a positive experience for all our patients. The typical hours for this role are Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm with rotating closing. No Holidays No Weekends

The Clinic:

BayCare Clinic is a successful, dynamic group comprised of 19 specialties. We are a physician-owned entity with joint ownership in Aurora BayCare Medical Center, a 167-bed hospital located in Green Bay, WI, offering us a built-in referral base. Each of our specialty practices have clinical autonomy and are financially sound.

Orients patients on use and function of hearing aids.
Assists patients using appropriate techniques and procedures to perform minor hearing aid repairs, cleaning, and programming.
Sends hearing aids to vendors for difficult or extensive repair.
Orders new hearing aids for patients as directed by Audiologists.
Assists Audiologists in direct patient care as needed.
Assists Audiologists with pediatric testing.
Documents and communicates accurate and timely information regarding patient questions and needs.
Performs administrative support functions such as appointment scheduling, managing referrals, prior authorizations, and processing work queues.
Organizes/prepares exam rooms.
Orders and stocks supplies as needed.
Assists in routine cleaning of patient rooms and waiting areas.
Accurately documents hearing aid care provided to the patient in the patient's medical record.
Respects and maintains confidentiality.
Works in a safe, compliant, and ethical manner at all times.

The Requirements:

Audiology Assistant Certification preferred but not required.
Epic experience a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy are necessary.
Must be computer literate and familiar with the software used at the practice site.
