    Salary:
    $150,000-$250,000

    York's complete Space Segment Solution, including spacecraft production, payload integration, system integration & test, launch services, ground segment services, and mission operations enables customers to leverage York's existing technology solutions to get rapidly and responsively to orbit.

    We're looking to expand our team across the board.


    York Space Systems has an opening for an Associate General Counsel, reporting to and supporting the Chief Legal & Administrative Officer (CLAO).

    The work location is Greenwood Village, Colorado (no remote option).


    RESPONSIBILITIES:


    The individual will serve as a generalist responsible for providing supporting in a variety of areas, notably employment, intellectual property, and litigation.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience in one or more of the above subject matter areas.
    • Track record of increasing responsibility in professional environments and of achieving superior results.
    • Ability to streamline processes and provide practical guidance.
    • Creative problem-solving and an aptitude for reducing the impact of issues on the business.
    • Comfort supporting rapid decision-making, sometimes based upon imperfect information.
    • Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in a fast-paced, high-growth organizational setting.
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and maintain composure in stressful situations.
    • Facility resolving complex matters through critical thinking, prioritization, and strategy.
    • Demonstrated excellence in writing and superior analytical skills.
    • Financial literacy, including the ability to apply a working knowledge of financial matters to promote and optimize business needs and results.
    • Experience working cross-functionally.
    • Supervisory experience and willingness and ability to manage and train junior members of the team.
    • Willingness to perform routine tasks as well as to lead more complex projects.
    • Juris Doctor degree with eight (8) or more years of relevant experience.
    • The ideal candidate will have both law firm and in-house experience.
