- Responsibility for all aspects of acquisition including development, testing, system integration, production, fielding, sustainment, and product improvements.
- Maintain continuous liaison and monitor collaborative planning with all internal and external stakeholders to render advice and counsel on assigned management activities and ensure all programs meet cost, schedule, and performance goals.
- Review programming documents received from higher headquarters to determine effect on assigned programs and develop time-phased and budgeted programs designed to meet mission requirements.
- Oversee Program Objective Memorandum (POM) planning, cost estimating, program planning, budgeting, and program integration.
- Direct the development of life cycle documentation for assigned projects and funds.
- Performs the full range of administrative and technical supervisory duties for core and matrixed DoD civilians.
- Assigns work and establishes priorities; evaluates performance of subordinates; gives advice, counsel, and/or instruction to subordinates on both work and administrative matters.
