    Description
    Summary of Position:

    The Barback will be responsible for assisting Bartenders in all opening, closing, and other duties. Responsible for maintaining clean bars, stocking and cleanliness of silverware, glassware, and dishes while providing genuine guest experience.

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Provide service to the Bartenders.
    • Learn the names and personally recognize our regulars.
    • Wash, sterilize, and polish glassware throughout the shift.
    • Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish snacks, appetizers for bar patrons.
    • Do weekly preparation of special ingredients in the kitchen bar.
    • Maintains bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages.
    • Clear and reset tables in bar area.
    • Present drink menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages.
    • Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage areas.
    • Receive and serve food orders to guests seated at the bar.
    • Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to the restaurant manager.
    • Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
    • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
    • Clean tables, doors, floors, floorboards, windows, vents, lights etc. Maintain clean and sanitary environment throughout the entire bar.
    • Provide a genuinely hospitable experience.
    • Attends scheduled Team Member meetings and brings suggestions for overall improvement of the operation.
    • Other duties may be assigned.
    Qualifications:
    • Be 21 years of age.
    • Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the restaurant's trading area.
    • A flexible schedule is required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
    • Have knowledge of service and food and beverage, generally involving at least six months of front-of-the-house operations.
    • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
    • Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
    • Must have the stamina to work 50 to 60 hours per week.
    • Ability to work in a fast paced, high stress environment, while still delivering on our promises to our guests, ensuring a team focused environment
