    About the Opportunity:

    We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Production Technician to join our dynamic operations team. You will work within a manufacturing cell, ensuring a high quality product delivered to the next cell in the required timeframe to help us build and ship high tech, high quality products to our customers around the world.     Key responsibilities:

    • Performs various production processes, which are intricate & complicated in nature and specific to the construction of x-ray tubes, and related products.
    • Performs established processes according to verbal or written instructions, including but not limited to manufacturing procedures, assembly drawings or diagrams.
    • Operates hand tools, power tools, production equipment and associated computer workstations.
    • Accepts individual responsibility for achievement of scheduled manufacturing cell output.
    • Accepts individual responsibility for quality of work produced, including inspection of own work against expected outcome.
    • Possesses the communication skills to interact with engineering to participate in pilot production runs.
    • Readily accepts opportunities to cross train. Possess the aptitude to perform at least 50% of the manufacturing cell production processes. Proactively cross trains fellow technicians.
    • Possess the communication skills to be a positive contributor to the production team. Able to understand, communicate and support management quality programs and objectives. Knows, understands, appreciates individual role in relation to quality management systems (ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC
    • Possess the relevant prior experience to master requisite skills in an expected and communicated timeframe.

    About You:

    The right candidate for this role will have at least a high school diploma or GED, with a minimum 2 years' experience in manufacturing/production; Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook; Strong attention to detail, including accuracy and thoroughness; and Solid communications skills both verbal and written.

    Salary: In accordance with California law, the expected hourly rate for this position is between $20 - $24. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
