    Staff Management Group is seeking a Forklift Operator for our client in Roselle, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements before applying for this position.

    Schedule

    • 1st Shift: 8:30AM - 3:30PM

    Pay Rate

    • $16 / hour

    Summary

    The Forklift Operator is responsible for efficiently operating a sit-down forklift to load and unload trucks and stage pallets within a warehouse setting.

    Job Description

    • Unload product from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
    • Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
    • Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
    • Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance

    Job Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in a related role within a warehouse environment.
    • Compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA).
