Ateios Systems is a battery manufacturing startup that is focused on developing next-generation battery components through rapid, solvent-free manufacturing processes to help assemblers make better batteries.

Our R&D and product development are based out of state-of-the-art engineering facilities & headquarters located in Indiana. We are a passionate team of entrepreneurial engineers looking to share that passion with others.

Job Description:
The Software Engineer will port our current data visualization code into a more user-friendly format. The main goal is to help develop data analysis and visualization software. Ateios is seeking high-energy individuals who are proactive and are willing to take ownership of the project.

Responsibilities and Skills:
Familiar with Frontend as well as Backend programming
Proficiency with Excel and working with and analyzing large and complex datasets in Excel
Scripting or coding experience in Python to efficiently filter and work with large volumes of data
Study the current software system and suggest edits to improve efficiency
Work on fixing the bugs in the current software system
Communicate with the internal users to define requirements and modifications
Research, develop, and design features based on evolving needs
Work on building a GUI and visualization tool for the internal users
Self-starter should be able to take the lead in the project
Team player with strong communication skills

Familiarity with Visualization tools like Origin, JMP, PowerBI

Requirements:
Master's in computer science/Engineering preferred but not required
US Citizenship is preferred but not required
US Work Authorization
Coding and/or data analytics experience
Ability to maintain multiple projects at once
Strong ability to communicate computing and code problems and solutions clearly and concisely
Attention to detail, ability to work well individually and in a team setting

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20lbs
Ability to work in a mask for multiple hours a day
Ability to stand for at least and hour and do repetitive tasks with hands
