    Talascend is currently seeking a Sr Systems Engineer for a contract opportunity in Phoenix,


    AZSUMMARY:
    Join a team that supports the development and verification of highly complex avionics systems within client. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

    You will be involved in the most critical stages of the systems life cycle, from prototype engineering testing to system qualification testing.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Requirements analysisRequirements decompositionTest plan and procedure developmentScript-based avionics testing in accordance with environmental and mops requirementsAnomaly investigation and dispositionQualification test report generationProject coordinationBudget/schedule responsibility


    YOU MUST HAVE:
    Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, AerospaceEngineering, or equivalentAt least 5 years of engineering experience


    WE VALUE:


    Experience with DO-160 and Mil-STD environmental requirementsExperience using script-based testing of avionics systemsExperience evaluating Minimum Operational Performance Standards (MOPS) such as DO-181, DO-185, DO-220, or DO-283Knowledge of the systems development lifecycleProcedure and report-writing experienceIndividuals that quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and conceptsWorking with diverse and global teamIndividuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take theinitiative to get things done.
