    Description

    Title and Location: Software Field Test Engineer. Santa Clara, CA.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Serve as the lead for reproducing old issues, debugging, documenting, prototyping, and system testing of new robotic and computer vision-based technologies.
    • Build detailed test plans
    • Compile and analyze test results and make recommendations.
    • Plan and guide the integration of complex, multi-disciplinary robotic systems.
    • Evaluate product failures using advanced engineering techniques.
    • Integrate and/or install software at a system, subsystem, and component level.
    • May work remotely; periodic time in office required; must live within commuting distance of the office.
    • 30% domestic and international travel.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or foreign academic equivalent. 5 years of experience.
    • Required skills: Curate and analyze large datasets using imagery tools to identify objects of interest (5 years).
    • Troubleshoot automotive or offroad autonomous vehicles, create and execute test plans, and analyze results (3 years).
    • Analyze vehicle performance using Linux-based laptops to include network commands, write scripts, and work with CAN / ethernet (3 years).
    • Diagnose complex systems to troubleshoot issues to component level (3 years)
    • Write clear concise test reports and systems test plans (3 years).
    • Train technicians to operate equipment and perform tests, supervise the quality of work performed (2 years).
    • Perform diagnostic testing on agriculture robotics systems (1 year)
    • May work remotely; periodic time in office required; must live within commuting distance of office.
    • 30% domestic and international travel.
