    We have are currently searching for a Project Manager/Project Engineer in our Ft. Myers, FL market. Right now, we are seeing a significant uptick in work across mid/south Florida, due to Hurricane Ian. The Ft. Myers market is being serviced out of our Miami Branch and this hire, though remote, would be connected to that branch. We are seeking an independent, self-starter to be consistent boots on the ground in this growing market.     REQUIREMENTS:

    • Act as a primary client contact on various projects as directed by your immediate supervisor.
    • Maintain your personal production calendar to effectively manage and staff all required projects.
    • Attend periodic planning meetings to discuss with the client their needs from the firm and our ongoing involvement. During these meetings note any issues or resolutions and schedule future site visits.
    • Reviewing and analyzing construction documents produced by others.
    • Preparation of construction design documents if licensed, or preparation of design documents in conjunction with a licensed design professional.
    • Manage ongoing construction projects in accordance with BE-CI policies and procedures.
    • Conducting field investigations and completing the field investigation reports.
    • Assist with the development and analysis of electronic data related to the business of the Company.
    • Perform field testing in accordance with referenced industry standards.
    • Monitor and oversee the information technologies, technological equipment of the Company.
    • Maintain required billable hours as directed by your immediate supervisor.
    • Assist your supervisor and be readily available with mentoring and training newly hired production employees.
    • Actively pursue and participate in continuing education opportunities to further your knowledge of the industry, which includes achieving certifications within the industry.
    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Education (required): Bachelors Degree, from an Accredited 4-year University, or equivalent experience (Preferably: Engineering, Construction Management and/or Architecture).
    • Certification (preferred): Achieved from recognized construction and building envelope related organizations such as: IIBEC, Inc., CSI, ACI, ASCE, etc.
    • Experience: Preferred 2 years of work experience in the Building Enclosure industry, or certification, or equivalent/applicable experience in the construction industry.

    • This position is salary-based with the potential for quarterly performance-based bonuses.
