Job Duties:

Lead a team of Software Engineers to build the next generation machine learning signal pipeline widely used in Pinterest, including candidate generation, featurization and ranking model improvement.

Lead the team to design and build systems that combine machine learning and product design to continuously improve Pinterest products over time.

Partner closely with other product teams across the organization to experiment with different algorithms and validate their effectiveness, while gaining knowledge of how machine learning works in all these products.

Telecommuting is permitted.

Minimum Requirements:
Ph.
D.

degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline or Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field) or closely related quantitative discipline and three (3) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

Special Skill Requirements:
(1) Python; (2) Java; (3) Scala; (4) Git; (5) Data Analysis; (6) SQL; (7) Hadoop; (8) Machine Learning. Telecommuting is permitted. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.

Salary:
$270, $304,496.00 per annum.
