    Lab Technician I
    Address Location: st Ave N, Plymouth, MN 55447
    Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm (some flexibility, 7am start is preferred)

    Job Description:

    The Laboratory Technician will assist sensory team on various sensory projects including Descriptive Analysis (DA), consumer guidance, difference panels and team tastings. We are looking for a hard working individual who has the ability to work with minimal supervision, ideally between the hours of 7:00 am and 3:30 pm. They would be responsible for panel preparations to include making up references, sample preparation, setting up panel room for training/testing, serving samples, and preparing ad hoc references as needed. Maintain cleanliness of lab in compliance with Food Safety, EHS, and PPE policies, completing the Master Sanitation checklist on a weekly basis. Assist with restocking the panel room, booth area, and sensory labs, taking a weekly inventory of supplies to be ordered, and placing all the orders to include instacart orders. Assist panel leaders in keeping project spreadsheets up to date, making up feedback charts for panelists, and help with reports in addition to other data entry. Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks on a deadline basis and be able to work effectively with a team as well as independently. Ability to drive on city streets to pick up samples from other R&D locations and supplies for sensory panels. Minimum requirements of a High School Diploma, lab experience preferred.
