    Job Title:
    Parts Expeditor
    (1st shift)

    Summary:
    Oakland County Aerospace Services company seeks an energetic, detail-oriented individual to Write-up Service Orders, perform receiving and final inspection and intake and release of customer jobs, On-the-Job training will be provided in Aerospace Quality Standards such as AS9100.


    Job Duties:


    • Customer Purchase Order review and job write up; monitors open/closed active purchase orders; certification reporting, outbound papers.
    • Entering receipt information accurately into database to generate shop travelers and tags for processing of parts
    • Overseeing all incoming and outgoing work and provides a smooth flow of material to each inspection dept.
    • Managing shipping queue for all orders released from hold to ship. Analyze shipping requirements and coordinate shipping activity. Prepare all required job reports and shipping documents for outgoing shipments.
    • Providing quality customer service while interacting with customers, vendors, drivers, management, and production workers.
    • Also acts as support for production scheduling.

    Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent; Good Basic math skills; Very good English written/verbal skills and computer literacy.
    Minimum 2 years direct or related experience required in manufacturing type company. Forklift experience, QA, blueprint reading a plus.
