The primary purpose of the Asset Protection Data Analyst is to provide data analysis and analytical support for investigations and cost savings initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze data to reduce fraud and shrink.
• Analyze POS (point of sale) transactional activity details.
• Collect, identify and isolate possible fraudulent activity.
• Identify operational issues relating to shrink.
• Review electronic journals, data maintenance reports, accounting functions and security reports.
• Maintain data and summarize findings.
• Assist and communicate to stores on training opportunities identified.
• Maintain database of projects and provide on-going data comparisons

Key Requirements:

• 2 - 4 year college degree and/or 3 - 5 years store experience
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
• Must be proficient in computer programs including Excel, Word and Google Drive
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, but in an efficient and controlled manner.
• Analytical thinking
• Detail-oriented and ability to multitask.
• Must be highly motivated and able to work under limited supervision
• Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude.
• Ability to function as a team member and get along with others

This role is an on-site position, located in Lubbock, TX.
