We are seeking a full-time Credentialed Medical Assistant to join our Gastroenterology Clinic in NE Portland (Gateway). You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.

    Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for an experienced candidate with a friendly demeanor, great positive attitude, and customer-focused work ethic. Candidates must have strong critical thinking, prioritization, and time management, along with dedication to provide high quality patient care.We strive to meet the needs of our patients and employees by providing a supportive work environment, opportunities for growth, and conveniently located workplace

    Primary duties include rooming patients, obtaining vitals, preparing patients for examination, assisting with procedures, collecting specimens, cleaning and stocking exam rooms, and assisting with overall delivery of patient care in the department. May be needed to travel 1-2 days per week to our Gastroenterology East clinic in Happy Valley.

    Workdays will be Monday-Friday (40 hours a week, varying day off) 7:00am - 5:30pm with 4/10s shift and no weekends or holiday shifts This position will rotate locations between our Gateway Office and our new office located in Happy Valley.

    Hiring pay based on open position, experience, and credentials:

    Level I - $21.66- $29.30 per hour.
    Level II - $ $32.23 per hour.
    Level III - $ $35.46 per hour.

    Placement within levels based on specialty group, experience, additional duties.

    Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.

    Qualifications:
    • Two years of previous experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
    • New Grads Welcome to apply, must be Certified within 90 days.
    • Current CPR/BLS or obtain within 60 days of hire.
    • Prior EMR experience preferred.
    • Strong MS Office Suite and computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
    • Strong customer service and communication skills.
    • Accuracy and efficiency in typing and general documentation
