Job Description

Main function:

In addition to providing traditional accounting and tax services, our firm specializes in business valuation and forensic accounting. As a small firm, the responsibilities of this position will include everything from client relationship management to administration, and everything in between For more information on our firm see our web site:

Duties:

Reconciling client bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
Preparing client journal entries
Generating client financial statements
Business & personal income tax preparation
Assist in the preparation of business valuations
Assist in conducting forensic examinations
Assist in lost-profit and economic damage calculations
Conduct tax research
Perform other duties as assigned by the Owner

Working conditions:

Position is full-time (will consider part-time)
Hours are Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm
40 hours per week
Attire is business casual

Employment Requirements:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is recommended
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
Good business writing skills
UltraTax experience a plus
Must be able to work well independently
Ability to organize and analyze large amounts of data
