    Description


    This is an important position within Emerson's Cross Portfolio and Technology Innovation organization, one of the leading IoT solutions providers to the process automation industry.

    You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cybersecurity strategies for our products.

    You will work with a wide variety of technologies including Bluetooth, Ethernet, and cellular technologies and will work to ensure that Emerson's products are securely developed and delivered.

    This role provides an opportunity for career growth within the space of cybersecurity where you will work on challenging and exciting projects to facilitate our client's needs and protect them from threats.

    IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL:

    Provide technical analysis of product assessments and articulate impact to end users

    Monitor essential cybersecurity product development processes

    Performing cybersecurity technical impact analysis of product changes

    Support technical cybersecurity certification activities

    Perform and support security scans, fuzz and penetration testing on products

    Lead threat modeling activities for products

    Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards

    FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science from an engineering school

    4+ years or more years of applicable experience

    Familiarity with a programming language such as Java, C/C++, .Net or Python

    Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this position


    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

    ABET-accredited engineering degree

    Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and standard methodologies, including knowledge of relevant industry specifications, standards, and frameworks

    Experience in threat modeling, risk assessment, and vulnerability testing

    Knowledge of embedded systems

    Familiarity with cybersecurity regulations and standards such as IEC, ISO, NIST, and GDPR

    Proficient in network infrastructure design and deployment

    Experience with network security monitoring and incident response
