Job summary
The Residential Weatherization Technician will assist in implementing a broad range of energy conservation programs by conducting comprehensive energy audits of residential properties, providing client education, and communicating with team members.We get together for our year-end awards, where you get a chance to be voted for one of the 10 categories with Real value prizes. Responsibilities
- Follow the prescribed training to become a BPI Certified Building Analyst. ,
- Blow in insulation and perform weatherization tasks such as air sealing. ,
- Blower door test: static pressure test heating system efficiency Assessing and documenting the condition of the thermal envelope.Educating the client whenever possible to obtain energy savings.Determine areas of possible health and safety dangers.Installing some energy-saving products,metering appliances for possible replacement.Performing energy savings functions such as water temperature down.Communicate with clients Thoroughly document information gathered at an audit ,in written computerized formats required.Write work order specifications.Synergy3 team members inspect work check conformity specification.
