    We are adding to our team due to growthEssential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
    Conduct field investigations and perform failure/accident analysis on incidents involving all types of vehicles and related mechanical equipmentConduct vehicular accident reconstruction and mechanical failure analysis initially in a support role and later as a project leadPerform calculations, engineering analysis, computer analyses and simulations and technical reportingInvestigate design, safety and failure of machinery and mechanical systemsProvide technical findings and conclusions in layman's terms, both verbally and in writingMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societiesRegular and predictable physical presence in the officeLong term goal to become testifying expert

    Position Requirements:
    B.S in Mechanical Engineering required, Master's Degree preferredEligible within 24 months for P. E. registration through testingTwo years of post-academic engineering work experience preferredVehicular knowledge is requiredPassion for and interest in vehiclesNHTSA, Forensic, Racing or Vehicle Safety background is a plusStrong written and oral communication skillsComputer skills with spreadsheets, word processing and presentation software is a mustComputer aided drawing skills is a plusExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsPublic speaking experience is a plus

    Physical Requirements:
