    Job Summary

    Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the Strategic Planning Advisor position and to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The primary responsibility of this position is to manage our external and internal communications by developing strategic plans to help define and share the direction of partnerships in the space industry supporting the United States Space Force.

    The top candidate will promote a positive public image and control the dissemination of information on our company's behalf.

    Phenomenal communication and copywriting skills make a strong communications candidate. Experience in corporate communications and project management are important qualities too. Your enthusiasm and positive attitude will help you gain the trust of colleagues and external parties alike.

    Effort will focus on the next three to five years and includes actions such as: Develop current and future foreign military sale and cooperative acquisition agreement opportunities. To include program planning, vision and mission statements, goals, and solutions (Actions, Impacts, Results). Strategic advisor to the Director on topics relating to the Five Eyes (FVEY) intelligence alliance including Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

    Skills / Experience Required

    10 + years experiences working in a similar role

    Foster relationships with advocates and key persons

    Drives strategic initiatives and supports the development of long-term growth plans and profitability goals

    Analyses emerging industry trends, expansion opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, competitive threats, the viability of outside business partners, and sources of capital

    Establishes and retains relationships with industry analysts and the investment community

    Education / Certifications

    BS/BA in public relations, communication, or relevant field

    IACCM or CIPS (recommended)

    Security Clearance

    Must be a U.S. Citizen. A high-level Department of Defense (DoD) active security clearance may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

    Physical Requirements

    Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and may include lifting thirty (30) pounds, as necessary.
