The Opportunity
The Associate Director, Medical Affairs is a strategic, execution‑focused role responsible for translating Medical Affairs strategy into high‑impact operational delivery across multiple therapeutic areas. While the initial priority will be post‑bariatric hypoglycemia, this person will also support efforts in Wolfram syndrome and ALS.
They will drive the operationalization of scientific plans, advance launch readiness, and strengthen Medical Affairs excellence in a dynamic, fast‑paced, pre‑launch environment. This is a hands‑on role suited for someone who excels at scientific execution, manages external partners effectively, and leads cross‑functional initiatives through collaboration and influence. A core responsibility of this role is to develop and scale foundational Medical Affairs capabilities—including publication planning, congress strategy and execution, professional society engagement, MLR leadership, insights governance, and field medical enablement. This position is ideal for a scientifically rigorous, highly motivated Medical Affairs leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys taking ownership of high‑visibility work, and is eager to contribute meaningfully to a growing portfolio. As the organization evolves, the role offers clear opportunities to expand scope and advance into broader leadership responsibilities while driving impact for communities with significant unmet needs.
