    2nd Shift Assembler

    Description:

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    An Assembler is responsible for using components and parts to produce quality products. They will also read and interpret blueprints, positions parts, and examines connections for correct fit. They will also be able to perform repairs as needed and report errors in the assembly line. May perform other duties as assigned.

    Descriptions:

    Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints and standard work instructions (SWI's).

    Ability to read and use a tape measure.

    Use a variety of other powered hand tools, stapler, rivets gun(s), drills, etc.

    Inspect and test, parts and products, as necessary, during or after assembly to quality standards.

    Maintain a clean and organized work area, maintain all equipment according to maintenance plans.

    Perform saw or mill operations.

    Assemble parts and sub-assemblies.

    Routine daily equipment maintenance.

    Prepare product for shipment.

    Ability to cross train in other areas and departments.

    Other duties as assigned.
