    This position will lead business development of our Supply Chain.

    The ideal candidate uses data gathering and analyzing skills along with sound judgement to make key, business-impacting decisions while also providing recommendations for functional enhancements through the continuous improvement process.

    Plan and execute procurement of raw materials from domestic and international suppliers with a focus on key suppliers
    Maintain strong working relationships and communications with manufacturing and key suppliers to confirm production/shipping schedules and monitor open purchase orders to ensure on-time deliveries with full quantity

    Interface with production, sales, purchasing and suppliers in order to schedule purchase orders to meet distribution and service demand
    Proactively report product and material availability issues
    Coordinate inventory planning and replenishment of raw materials and components in conjunction with our program management teams
    Revise and manage Banjo Purchasing PFEP (Plan for Every Part) to ensure the JDE system is effectively planning future requirements

    Inventory Management:
    Support reporting, inventory parameters and reduction of obsolescence exposure

    Project management:
    Project Manage new product launch with all material suppliers
    Participate and contribute to monthly SIRI (significant inventory reduction items) program management & metrics, S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process
    Complete special projects and assignments as requested

    Minimum of 1-3 years of Buying and procurement experience.
    Proficiency in relevant computer applications, Microsoft Office, JD Edwards, Oracle/Demantra preferred
    Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain, or equivalent experience, preferred.
    CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) Preferred and/or APICS (Association for Supply Chain Management) preferred
