    • Requires at least 1 certification in area of specialization or be able to obtain specified certification within 6 months of contract start date. SUMMARY WHAT IS DISA JITC TEC II? DISA's mission is to conduct DODIN operations for the joint warfighter to enable lethality across all warfighting domains in defense of our Nation. DISA is a combat support agency of the Department of Defense (DoD). The agency is composed of more than 8,000 military and civilian employees. The agency provides, operates, and assures command and control and information-sharing capabilities and a globally accessible enterprise information infrastructure in direct support to joint warfighters, national level leaders, and other mission and coalition partners across the full spectrum of military operations. Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) Test Evaluation and Certification II Services (TEC II) contract provides technical solutions for the DOD in support of Test and Evaluation (T&E) services and T&E enabling services.
    JITC's service requirements are categorized in the following areas:
    T&E Performance Requirements, T&E Capability Management Requirements, T&E Capability Requirements, and Overarching Contract and Task Order (TO) Requirements.

    TEC Services are provided to DoD Combatant Commanders/Services/Agencies, federal and state agencies, coalition partners, and commercial entities to aid in the design, development, acquisition, integration, deployment, operational use, and sustainment of new and enhanced Information Technology/National Security System capabilities.

    JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for testing all aspects of the application suite including functional testing, compatibility testing, regression testing, designing and running test scenarios, ensuring all requirements/user stories have been correctly implemented, assisting with detecting, reporting, and communicating any defects found while testing.
    • Ability to support test and evaluation events to include test planning and coordination.
    • Define test scenarios, identify and prepare test data, and translate requirements into detailed test cases.
    • Participate in peer reviews of requirements and test documentation.
    • Create test metrics such as requirements traceability matrix, defect and daily reports.
    • Ensure full accounting of anomalies and errors found in testing, notifying customers and management.
    • Record all initial findings and document final test results into applicable reports.
    • Generate Test Plans and Test Reports using Government approved formats and or templates.
    • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks within restricted timeframes.
    • Collaborate with developers and test team members; adhere to project schedules and milestones; and provide status updates to Test Lead. QUALIFICATIONS Required Certifications
    • Requires at least 1 certification in area of specialization or be able to obtain specified certification within 6 months of contract start date. Education, Background, and Years of Experience
    • Requires an Associate's degree; or a minimum of 60 semester hours of formal education working towards an Associate's or Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience; or at least 4 years of experience is required.
    • The degree must be in a relevant technical curriculum and experience must be related to the job duties. ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Required Skills

    • Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
