    Position Summary:


    As an Engineering Project Manager, you will serve as an engineering & manufacturing project lead for RGBSI A&D across various programs requiring product/process design and development knowledge.

    Your knowledge and expertise will be widely applied across RGBSI A&D's broad client base from various industry domains such as aerospace, automotive, and defense sectors.

    You will provide thought leadership around new technologies and methodologies while working with RGBSI A&D clients in defining the future state of their engineering and manufacturing strategies.

    This is an on-site position that will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing project deliverables within scope and budget.


    As a key member of the RGBSI Aerospace & Defense Customer Engagement Team, the Engineering Project Manager is responsible for executing against key milestones and deliverable timelines.

    This role requires client-facing interaction with project teams in meeting aggressive timelines and delivering effective client solutions.

    Responsibilities

    Drive execution of projects to meet program commitments around focus areas of Industry 4.0 / Digital Factory / Model Based Enterprise / Advanced Manufacturing / Additive Manufacturing

    Lead the development and innovation of RGBSI A&D branded solutions and offerings to be used across DoD and commercial industry sectors

    Lead analyses of production processes, schedules, methods, and other data to better understand future requirements needed for customers' manufacturing processes

    Provide technical direction for problem definition, analysis, requirements development, and implementation for complex systems or issues

    Execute strong client leadership and project management to ensure accurate, timely, and thorough completion of work projects

    Lead accurate / professional documentation and presentation of technical data and analyses

    Review manufacturing instructions, methods, and processes to identify and improve customer efficiency

    Develop process strategy documentation outlining the technical and process changes and analyses

    Identify and manage all aspects of organizational change required to successfully implement identified opportunities

    Investigate and document current business processes and develop strategies to formulate, combine and improve processes

    Support active feedback between customers and the RGBSI A&D team to drive improvements

    Partner effectively with RGBSI A&D project/ program management, technical team, and customer to deliver according to agreed plans and schedules

    Demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues as they arise and initiate corrective actions

    Ability to manage deliverables and execute tasks with minimal oversight

    Work with end-user groups to evaluate and solve technical problems

    Requirements

    Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering with 2+ years engineering project management experience

    Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines concurrently

    Ability to manage and develop agile teams of highly technical resources

    Experience in editing and controlling PFMEAs and Control Plans

    Expertise in GD&T

    Ability to recognize potential risk areas and implement mitigation plans

    Experience with assembly and testing of machined, forged/cast, or fabricated aerospace parts

    Experience with design for manufacturing, assembly, reliability, and cost

    Demonstrated time management and project management skills

    Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively and work with business and technical stakeholders

    Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and influential skills

    Availability for travel to customer locations as required; estimated at up to 30% - client dependent

    Desired Qualifications

    Experience with Project Planning tools, such as MS Project

    Experience managing cost, scope, and schedule using Integrated Master Schedules and Earned Value Management

    Understanding of PPAP through PPAP Level 5

    LEAN, Six Sigma, or other process certifications
