    The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving transportation systems, a strong understanding of traffic engineering principles, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

    This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from traffic signal optimization to roadway design, and to collaborate with a talented team of professionals.


    Responsibilities:
    Conduct traffic studies, including traffic impact assessments, intersection analysis, and corridor studies.
    Design traffic control plans, signal timing plans, and signage layouts to optimize traffic flow and enhance safety.
    Utilize transportation modelling software to simulate traffic patterns and assess the impact of proposed changes.
    Provide technical expertise and guidance on traffic engineering principles and best practices.


    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
    Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Florida, or ability to obtain within six months.
    Must have experience in traffic engineering or related field.
    Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
    Familiarity with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) projects.
