    Job Summary:


    The Shift Manager supports the crew in directing the daily operations of their Andy's store in support of the Mission, Values and Culture while role modeling Andy's Standard of Excellence.

    The Shift Manager assists in ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operations to include but not limited to:
    product preparation and delivery, customer service, facilities maintenance and financial accountability.

    This role accomplishes these objectives by actively training and coaching talent and running shifts to achieve key results in Custard, Crew, and Customers.


    To be considered for this position you must be at least 18 years of age and have at least 6 months of management experience, quick service preferred.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Custard:
    Ensures the correct inventory levels are met per shift
    Operates custard machines and ensures high quality product is produced
    Ensures all custard/food items are prepared according to Andy's standards of quality, consistency, and timeliness
    Completes designated Food Safety and Training programs as prescribed


    Crew:
    Responsible for driving key performance indicators to drive sales and transaction growth
    Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard
    Assist with new employee training through positive reinforcement (Responsible for monitoring training and development of new employees on shift)
    Create a positive and professional work environment by providing clear, specific, timely and respectful feedback to all crew and managers
    As a key holder, execute store operations during scheduled shifts, including opening and closing duties
    Effectively lead the store and provide direction to crew when the GM and AGM are not present
    Follow and reinforce Andy's operational policies and procedures
    Follow and reinforce Andy's Dress Code and Personal Appearance Policy


    Customer:
    Deliver legendary customer service to all customers by using a "customer comes first" attitude
    Utilize operational tools to achieve maximum operational efficiency, i.e., Drive times, food costs, labor costs, etc.
    Always maintain all health and safety regulations

    Education and Experience Requirements:
    Previous Experience: 6+ Months Management and/or Andy's experience
    Must be 18+ years of age


    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
    Must have reliable transportation to and from work
    Can manage cash according to cash handling and banking policies
    Must be able to work late nights (as late as 1am), weekends, as well as some holidays
    Must be able to manage, effectively, in a fast-paced environment
    Must be able to take direction and delegate responsibilities
    Must be able to use touch sensitive POS System
    Strong Interpersonal skills
    Ability to maintain the Andy's culture/values at all times, even during moments of high stress
