    Client in Parsippany needs a Purchasing and Inbound Logistics Coordinator
    Temp to Perm OR Perm
    HYBRID- 3 days in office- 2 days home

    Purchasing/ Inbound Logistics Coordinator
    Salary depends on experience 65K-80K

    Hours : 9-5

    Food Industry a plus/ SAP a plus but not a must


    Responsibilities:

    • Purchase order creation and order maintenance
    • SAP System Accuracy for inbound purchase orders
    • Vendor Relationship Management: Internal Suppliers and 3rd Party Logistics
    • Contribute and track overall transportation budget
    • Maintain consistent inventory flow to meet North American supply requirements.
    The coordinator also owns the inbound logistics process which involves the transportation of these materials from the supply sites to our storage locations within North America via
    multiple ocean and road freight suppliers.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Receives the monthly material requirements from the Supply Planner, as well as ad hoc
    requirements throughout the month. Converts these requirements into Purchase Orders
    and transmits these to our internal suppliers.

    • Follows up on all open purchase orders to ensure confirmation. Verifies that delivery date,
    quantity, pricing, and shipping details are accurate and up to date within the SAP
    environment.

    • Upon shipment, verify all required documentation is received and accessible for the required key users- including warehouses, customs brokers, sales administration, and
    quality teams.

    • Interact with freight, customs, and warehouse providers to resolve any issues that may
    occur while our containerized goods are in transit.

    • Ensure delivery dates shown for all open PO are accurate to nearly real-time within the
