    We are seeking a highly organized and results-oriented Senior Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of our packaging and production process. This position is responsible for overseeing various aspects of the day-to-day activities to ensure efficiency, productivity, quality, and overall safety.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Supervise and coordinate production activities, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring production processes.
    • Implement and improve production procedures to maximize output.
    • Work closely with the procurement team to secure the necessary raw materials.
    • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any issues related to product quality.
    • Optimize supply chain processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness while managing inventory levels to ensure smooth production flow.
    • Achieve monthly Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost targets through effective and efficient visual daily management, problem-solving, action plan development, and execution.
    • Take the lead in developing well-functioning cross-departmental relationships and teams for the achievement of the business's prioritized objectives.
    • Ensuring compliance in production with health and safety regulations, implementing safety protocols and procedures, and conducting safety audits and training sessions. Drive continuous improvement across various aspects of the business.
    • Ensure compliance with all food safety and quality assurance standards.
    • Analyze production data and identify trends to improve efficiency.
    • Prepare reports and presentations on production performance.
    • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
    • Work closely with the packaging engineering team in development and implementation of new packaging solutions.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's degree in food science, business administration, or a related field (Required).
    • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing, packaging production environment.
    • Proven track record of success in managing and improving operations.
    • Strong understanding of food safety and quality assurance principles.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
    • Experience with packaging equipment (preferred).
    • Ability to think broadly when evaluating financial and business indicators and translating data into actionable information to drive improved results.
    • Should expect to be highly visible on the production floor.
    • Bilingual (English and Spanish) required.
    COMPENSATION:
    Negotiable Based on Experience
