- Implementing an individualized treatment program based on ABA principles designed to increase functional living skills
- Implementing behavior intervention plan to address maladaptive behavior
- Accurately recording observed data on client progress
- Maintaining confidentiality of records relating to client demographic and treatment information according to HIPAA
- Performing other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent. BA/BS in Psychology, Education, Special Education, or a related field is PREFERRED.
- Minimum 1-year experience working with children
- Knowledge in Applied Behavior Analysis is helpful
- Valid CA Driver's License & Proof of auto liability insurance
- Oral and writing skills necessary for communication with family members and children
- Positive outlook, enthusiasm, self-motivated and high energy
- Ability to work individually and also function as a part of a team
- Knowledgeable and skilled in computer/word processing software
- Criminal (DOJ) fingerprint clearance
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential (preferred)
- Immunizations requirements & Negative TB test results (completed within the last year)
- Ability to lift, pull and/or push at least 30 lbs.
- Ability to 1) physically bend, squat, extend arms, reach over shoulders and outward; 2) quickly alternate between kneeling, standing, and/or to sitting; 3) sitting at a prolonged time
- Ability to sustain energy level that can keep up with active children
- A recent physical that verifies you meet the physical requirements of the job without reasonable accommodations.

Under the guidance and supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, Behavior Interventionist/Therapist (BI) will use the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to teach the individuals with autism functional living skills as outlined in the individualized treatment program at home, school, and/or other community settings.
This is full-time employment, hourly position. Available hours are Monday through Friday, ranging from 20 to 35 hours a week.
