    JOB SUMMARY
    As Sourcing Manager, you will optimize sourcing and procurement at Marki Microwave.

    You will manage all commercial activities, from supplier selection, contract negotiation, and material purchases to developing strategic sourcing plans and supplier relationships.

    You will lead cross-functional teams involving stakeholders from planning, logistics, manufacturing, engineering quality, and finance to develop and secure a reliable supply of materials delivered on time and at the highest quality and lowest cost.

    This role is vital in developing and driving process improvements in the organization's supply chain that will directly contribute to Marki's company growth objectives.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    Manage a highly talented team responsible for procurement and sourcing. Set clear performance expectations and coach for excellence.
    Develop strategies that grow and maintain a trusted, scalable supplier network.
    Identify and bring on board new suppliers and partners; leverage competition and disengage from underperforming suppliers. Measure risk and performance through a supplier scorecard process.
    Collaborate closely with Engineering and cross-functional teams to drive sourcing strategies to support Marki's existing and new business opportunities.
    Negotiate supplier agreements to provide long-term supply assurance and pricing advantages. Ensure compliance with Marki's purchasing requirements.
    Process purchase orders and develop bids and proposals necessary for securing supply.
    Resolve systemic supply chain issues affecting quality, cost, delivery, or lead time.
    Identify opportunities and capture significant savings across expense categories, including direct materials, equipment, and indirect spending.
    Drive cost-reduction activities.
    Measure and track performance on

    Sourcing/Procurement

    KPIs.

    Report monthly to senior management on critical areas, including supply quality, delivery, lead time, cost savings, supplier risk, and performance.

    Develop risk buy analysis for future spends dependent on "what if" scenarios and be able to support decisions to buy and hold Inventory.

    Continually improve Marki policies and procedures for effective supplier management.
    Manage Purchasing personnel, including talent acquisition, performance management, and talent development. Establish strategies to improve skill levels within the teams. Coach team members on organization, time management, and people skills.
    Promote an ethics-based business culture in the organization.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    7+ years of experience in Purchasing and Sourcing with 3-4 recent years in Semiconductors and/or electronics manufacturing environment.
    3+ years in a management role.
    Proven experience in supplier selection, development, and management.
    Demonstrated a history of successful contract negotiations that optimize cost, value, risk, and timing.
    Ability to confidently lead diverse cross-functional teams, including Design and Product Engineering, to deliver products from NPI through production.
    Results-oriented and data-driven leader with a demonstrated history of setting and

    achieving/exceeding

    aggressive goals.
    Strong interpersonal and team-building skills to manage relationships throughout the organization.
    Solid track record meeting substantial material cost reduction targets.
    Strong problem solver with great attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
    Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
    Experience in the purchase of technical commodities and implementation of best practices.
    Complete use of Microsoft Office suite needed.
    Working knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
    Travel is required up to 15% per year.


    TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
    Technical expertise in semiconductor foundry, backend assembly, and test with RF experience is highly preferred.
    Ability to work with Engineering and understand and communicate at a technical level.
    Strong knowledge and understanding of ERP/MRP systems and their use in manufacturing. Prior system integrations and implementation experience preferred.
    Strong Excel skills needed. High-level Excel skills preferred.

    Data Analytics:
    Ability to work with and concisely rationalize large amounts of data to drive data-driven decisions.
    Complete use of Microsoft Office suite needed.
    Working knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
