    Ropes Course Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the management and daily operations of a multi-level High Ropes Course facilitating a safe and one-of-a-kind guest experience.

    Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

    Major Duties/Specific Tasks

    • Facilitate the safe use of the 90 element High Ropes Course.
    • Provide safety briefings and equipment instruction to customers prior to them entering the course.
    • Assist with hiring of Ropes Course staff.
    • Supervise Ropes Course Staff and Attendants.
    • Ensure proper set up, take down, and daily safety checks of all elements.
    • Ensure customers are following all established safety standards and park rules.
    • Provide great customer service.
    • Conduct staff meetings and in-service trainings.
    • Assist with handling money and associated paperwork.
    • Assist with routine maintenance/repair of equipment.
    • Recognize and respond effectively to emergencies including performing rescues on the climbing course.
    • Administer first aid to injured patrons.
    • Maintain record logs on inspections, employee training, visitation, and injury.
    • Report unsafe conditions to the High Ropes Park Specialist or Park Manager.
    • Additional duties as assigned by the High Ropes Park Specialist or Park Manager.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Minimum age of 18 years.
    • Comfortable working at heights.
    • Minimum of two years of leadership experience or any equivalent combination of training, education, or experience.
    • Successful completion of High Ropes Course operations and safety training, annually.
    • Certification or ability to obtain certification in First Aid and CPR.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with the public.
    • Ability to operate point of sales and reservations systems and handle cash accurately.
    • Working knowledge of computers.
    • Ability to learn the operation of the facility and to obtain a working knowledge of NOVA Parks.
    • Strength and dexterity necessary to perform all required tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions.
    • Ability to perform a variety of duties including custodial tasks.
    • Availability to work a variable work schedule, which may include early and late hours, and weekends and holidays.
    • Possession or ability to obtain valid driver's license, must maintain safe driving record.
    • Required to wear standard uniform.
