System One is currently hiring for a Maintenance Mechanic in Tampa, FL .

Reads job repair orders and performs the diagnosis of routine maintenance repairs, preventive maintenance inspections, and troubleshooting of systems (i.e. hydraulic, electronic, mechanical, A/C).
Building maintenance duties as assigned (including electrical)

Installs new ignition systems, changes or recharges batteries, replaces transmissions or related parts, and overhauls gas and diesel engines.

Examines protective guards and makes adjustments to safety devices on trucks.
Lubricates moving parts and drives
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections per Company standards
Focus on customer service and adherence to safety and environmental policies and procedures.
Maintains conveyors including inspections
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and complete repairs on various types of equipment/vehicles
Perform preventative maintenance in fleet
Conduct preventive maintenance to mechanical devices
Repair broken or faulty machine parts
Perform facility and building repairs
Choose appropriate materials based on mechanical needs
Align and calibrate machine parts
Monitor and report on project progress
1+ years of mechanical experience on light and heavy equipment or facility maintenance
~ Previous experience as a maintenance mechanic in an industrial environment
~ Experience repairing plant and facility equipment
~ Must be able to demonstrate mechanical and technical aptitude
~ Operational knowledge of diesel equipment and tools associated with troubleshooting and repair of equipment
~ Medium duty truck experience preferred
~ Ability to obtain Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) as issued by Transportation Security Administration (TSA)
~ Must be willing and able to work any shift
~ Position is generally assigned a daytime schedule but will be required to work extended hours to include nights and weekends.
