As the Nurse Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of patient care within the Med-Surg/Tele unit
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading, mentoring, and supervisinga team of registered nurses and other healthcare professionals.
Developing and implementing unit policies and proceduresthat align with best practices and regulatory requirements.
Creating a positive and supportive work environmentthat promotes teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth.
Recruiting, onboarding, and orienting new staff members.
Scheduling staff and ensuring adequate staffing levelsto meet patient needs.
Developing and maintaining unit budgetsand ensuring efficient resource utilization.

Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and/or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree or a related field
Minimum Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of progressive management experience in a Med-Surgical setting
Preferred:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an acute care setting
Strong Leadership Skills:
The ability to motivate and inspire a team, delegate effectively, and provide constructive feedback.
Excellent Communication, Collaboration, and Interpersonal Skills:
The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with staff, patients, and families.
Exceptional Organizational and Time Management Skills:

Clinical Expertise:
Strong understanding of medical-surgical nursing practices and procedures.

Licenses/Certifications Required:
Current California RN License.

Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification.
