As a Security Officer - Flex Patrol Relief in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. You will respond to calls for service, document observations, and support students, faculty, staff, and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking locations, and perimeter routes, with working conditions that may vary by location and time of day.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with medical calls, alarms, disruptive behavior, and unauthorized access concerns.

Monitor access points, verify identification as required, and document security-related activity in daily logs and incident reports to help support site procedures.

Communicate with campus partners and/or local responders via radio, phone, and written reports, and help to deter policy violations through visible presence and professional interaction.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
