START ASAP- Election Support Staff - Trainer Roles in Miami-Dade County; We are looking for Staff Members who come in for In-Person interview and the date will be confirmed upon your confirmation.

In this role you will be in support roles for upcoming election in Miami Dade County.

Starting 06/10/2024 through 08/23/2024, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM; some Saturdays as required. Dependent of Departmental needs, there might be a nominal reduction in hours leading up to Election Day support.


Schedule:
40 hours a week, Overtime as needed.
Temp Trainer Job Description

Temporary trainers will be responsible for conducting technical training programs for Election Day poll workers and other Election Day support staff as needed.

The incumbent must be a registered voter in Miami-Dade County, able to speak and write English fluently, and be willing to travel to any training location or precinct as assigned.

Individuals in this role set up training rooms and training equipment, as well as prepare materials in support of the Training Section.

The incumbent must be able to participate in the train-the-trainer program, a mandatory 2-week training. Experience with customer service, public speaking, teaching/training are necessary. Proficient in English and able to communicate in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing.
Have exceptional customer service skills and public speaking or teaching/training are necessary.
Must be able to effectively conduct training regarding procedures, paperwork, etc.
for set-up and break down of training sites.
Must agree to monitoring of training sessions for quality assurance via Teams at any/all times
