    Description


    As a Pharmacy Technician II, you will use your advanced knowledge working in a pharmacy to prepare and submit third-party insurance claims using our custom-built pharmacy management system.

    Additional responsibilities will include troubleshooting complex cases. You'll also deliver extraordinary customer service while handling patient escalations via phone, text, chat, and email. Employment is conditional upon having an active PTCB certification.

    Troubleshoot prescription issues by calling insurance companies, doctors offices, and patientsWork closely with doctors offices to manage refill requests, prior authorizations, and coverage determinations
    • In office position; Contract to Hire Responsibilities Research and correct any claim discrepancies for assigned partner offices.
    Directly address all insurance denials received. (within 3 business days or less)

    Communicate directly with partner offices to request any additional information needed for claim payment.
    File secondary claims as needed with supporting documentation.
    Insurance aging report roll up for all partner offices.
    Registration and maintenance of online portals for Insurance companies.
    Follow up and resolve all communication requests. (responses within 48 hours or less)Ensure personal achievement of productivity standards and performance metrics as directed by supervisor.
