    Job Description

    Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

    A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist working within an elementary school setting in Naperville, IL. This role provides essential support to students by addressing their occupational therapy needs, enabling them to access the curriculum and engage fully in school activities.

    Responsibilities include providing direct occupational therapy services to a caseload of 42-50 students, developing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with teachers and staff, and documenting progress in accordance with school policies. The therapist will work Monday through Friday from 7:20 a.m. to 2:35 p.m., supporting the diverse needs of elementary-aged children.

    Desired qualifications and experience:

    • Valid Occupational Therapy license and credentials suitable for school-based practice
    • Background in pediatric occupational therapy, preferably within a school environment
    • Strong ability to assess and treat sensory, motor, and functional challenges impacting educational performance
    • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including educators, parents, and other service providers
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage a substantial caseload effectively

    This contract position runs from March 30, 2026, through June 5, 2026, offering a chance to contribute positively to the developmental progress of young students during the school year.
