    Description


    Role We are in search of a capable and diverse Manufacturing Engineer, adept at hands-on work, to spearhead the development, execution, and optimization of cost-efficient manufacturing processes.

    Operating in alignment with product specifications and quality benchmarks is paramount.

    Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, the chosen candidate will enhance productivity and safety through adept process enhancements, recommendations for capital investment, and the strategic deployment of the workforce.

    Duties

    • Foster a Safety-first culture, making it the foremost priority for all staff members.
    • Extend support to the factory while embracing Lean principles, prioritizing process enhancement and maintaining 5S standards.
    • Bolster product development by engaging in the design, prototyping, and testing of new or revised products, with subsequent adjustments to manufacturing equipment.
    • Develop and sustain detailed blueprints of buildings and machinery layouts.
    • Coordinate the manufacturing launch of fresh or modified products, encompassing blueprints, quality benchmarks, tool design, process specifics, and effective communication of objectives to the factory team.
    • Innovate, forge, and test, or procure and substantiate the cost-effectiveness of tools, machinery, and equipment.
    • Conduct analyses on products and processes to drive cost reduction, quality enhancement, safety improvements, and increased efficiency.
    • Create, assess, and approve drawings, work sequences, specifications, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training resources, and other documentation pertinent to existing and novel product manufacturing.
    • Gather data and deliver reports on diverse factory metrics for management evaluation.
    • Fulfill other related assignments as designated.
    Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, or an equivalent blend of educational attainment and practical experience.
    • A minimum of 2-5 years experience in manufacturing engineering or a comparable level of involvement with related product domains.
    • Profound mechanical acumen combined with a proclivity for dissecting and grasping mechanical and hydraulic systems; a natural inclination for learning.
    • Proficiency in Lean principles (preference for Green or Black Belt certification).
    • Proven track record in accomplishing cost reduction goals through process enhancements and quality betterment initiatives.
    • Robust analytical, mathematical, organizational, and communication proficiencies.
    • Ability to surmount challenges and conclude assignments promptly.
    • Team-oriented disposition, coupled with an eagerness to engage in hands-on tasks.
    • Proficiency in PC operations, including a history with MS Office Suite.
    • Familiarity with CADD (Computer-Aided Design and Drafting) is advantageous, with preference for experience in Mechanical Desktop and/or SolidWorks.
    • Physical capacity to perform tasks such as walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, using hands for manipulation, reaching, climbing, and lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
