    Job Title

    A Service Technician is needed to assemble, disassemble, and repair heavy-duty equipment. The role involves inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and servicing mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems and components of heavy-duty equipment.

    About You

    • Prior experience in heavy-duty construction or heavy equipment machinery is required
    • Previous experience in a heavy equipment dealership setting is preferred
    • You should be open to overtime as needed
    • If you lack professional experience, you must have a strong drive to learn on the job
    • Strong problem-solving skills are essential
    • You should be detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
    • Proficiency in mechanical systems (transmissions, hydraulics, engines, etc.) is necessary
    • You must be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced shop environment
    • An associate's degree in diesel/hydraulics is preferred; however, relevant experience can be considered in lieu of formal education
    • You should display a desire to improve and advance with the chosen position
    • A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required

    Your Responsibilities

    • You will demonstrate a basic knowledge of engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, powertrains, and fuel systems and perform repairs with supervision
    • You will perform basic PM maintenance and parts replacement and remove and install major components with minimal supervision
    • You will demonstrate safe and considerate work habits adhering to all company safety policies
    • You will maintain a neat and professional appearance and work area
    • You will possess a basic set of standard and metric mechanics tools
    • You will demonstrate the ability to accurately follow directions
    • You will accurately complete all required paperwork for tasks performed
    • You will demonstrate basic computer knowledge and typing skills
    • You will possess the ability to move various types of heavy-duty equipment so as to be able to move them in and out of the work area
    • You will attend and complete factory and regional training schools on specific products as required
    • You will complete all other duties assigned
