    Key Staffing is currently seeking a

    Director of Procurement Contracts

    for a client in the food processing industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a leading organization with a strong focus on strategic procurement and vendor management


    Position:
    Director of Procurement Contracts

    Hours:

    1st shift

    Workdays:
    Monday - Friday (Weekends as needed)

    Pay Scale:
    $110,000 - $130,000

    Reports To:

    CFO

    Responsibilities:
    Develop and implement purchasing and vendor contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
    Maintain proper inventory levels of supplies, packaging, parts, and equipment at multiple locations.
    Assist in ensuring proper purchasing, receiving, and inventory processes and controls.
    Represent the company in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.
    Negotiate purchase and lease agreements for products or services.
    Be accountable for pricing, contracting, and understanding usage and related costs.
    Identify vendors of packaging materials, equipment, supplies, and parts.
    Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials.
    Develop cost-reduction strategies and savings initiatives.
    Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability/cost.
    Ensure requisitions and purchase orders are processed in a timely manner.
    Engage with key stakeholders and vendors to ensure alignment with business objectives.
    Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes affecting the market.
    Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by leadership.
    On-going price comparison of all operating and repair supplies.
    Assist in purchasing and implementing a maintenance system.


    Requirements:
    BA/BS in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    Five plus years of experience in purchasing management or negotiation experience.
    Highly proficient in contract negotiations, contract maintenance, and vendor management.
    Price conscious and driven to assist the organization in savings.
    Must have a valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
    Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Demonstrated organizational skills; detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
    Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
    Experience using Microsoft Office.
