Responsibilities
- Description: Think visually Translate concepts into customer flows, journey maps, and wireframes Design and deliver wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for multiple devices and interfaces Inspire and bring new ideas to the team through staying in the know of current design trends Design for big data find solutions that to improve the daily lives of our associates Participate in design critiques by presenting your work capturing feedback giving constructive feedback on your peer's work Work within WM established design guidelines collaborate with team members to ensure consistency across designs Provide mentorship to less experienced designers Understand technical limitations Produce handoff ready work for tech team including producing redlines capturing assets Work with tech team to ensure designs are being implemented correctly give feedback Prepare present work to team partners leadership Think conceptually Apply a user-centered approach requirements interdependencies develop engaging interfaces Meet with key business tech partners collect requirements Collaborate brainstorm with team understand identify take on complex business requirements user needs Think empathetically Conduct user research facilitate interviews testing find end users issues needs Analyze interpret research inform designs Looking for someone who Is excited part fun close-knit team always learning collaborating other designers deliver cohesive associate centered experience Is excellent teammate Has sense humor Enjoys coffee breakfast hangouts team outings Wants involved in design community within outside WM Is passionate creative
