    Position Overview:

    As the Director of Category Management, you will lead the strategic management of product categories to drive growth, profitability, and market share.

    Leveraging your expertise in consumer insights, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, you will develop and execute category strategies that enhance the company's competitive position and meet the evolving needs of consumers.


    Responsibilities:
    Develop and implement comprehensive category management strategies aligned with company objectives and market dynamics.

    Lead a team of category managers responsible for analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.

    Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Supply Chain teams to drive category growth initiatives and ensure alignment across functions.

    Conduct in-depth market and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive threats within assigned categories.
    Utilize data-driven insights to optimize product assortment, pricing, promotions, and placement to maximize sales and profitability.
    Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners to influence category growth and secure strategic partnerships.
    Lead the development of category-specific promotional plans, product launches, and merchandising strategies to drive consumer engagement and brand visibility.
    Provide guidance and mentorship to the category management team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
    Proven track record of 7+ years in category management, product management, or related roles within the CPG industry.
    Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated ability to translate insights into actionable plans and initiatives.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across various functions and levels of the organization.

    Leadership experience, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
    Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving measurable business outcomes.
