    Description
    Insight Global is currently searching for an HVAC Engineer 2 for a large shipbuilding client supporting the U. S Navy. This Engineer 2 will be addressing daily HVAC production issues brought in from the production team, designing, modeling, and checking of HVAC systems, working with other departments (piping, structural, electrical to complete designs for Frigate vessels, attending module meetings to discuss and plan for each HVAC project piece, checking designs in AutoCAD or Ship Constructor to confirm NAVSEA compliance. The ideal candidate will have a background in the maritime shipbuilding industry.
    The hourly rate for this role is between $32-38hr.

    Strong AutoCad experience
    4+ years of shipbuilding experience - Structural, electrical, piping, HVAC, outfitting etc.
    Bachelors degree in engineering- preferably in their specific discipline
    Proficient in Microsoft Office
    Ship or Maritime experience
    MUST be on-site
