    Job Details:

    • Work 3x12 hour night shifts with every other weekend coverage required
    • 13-week assignment duration with ASAP start date
    • Care for cardiovascular stepdown/telemetry patients after ICU, including cardiac surgery patients
    • Maintain 4:1 patient ratios on days, nights, and weekends
    • Manage patients with chest tubes and dysrhythmias
    • Work with cardiovascular stepdown patients and telemetry monitoring
    • 24 hours of orientation required
    • Must complete EPIC training class based on experience level

    Required certifications:
    BLS, ACLS


    • Must have active VA license or compact license in hand at submission
    • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
    • Strong cardiac telemetry/stepdown experience with chest tube and dysrhythmia management required
    • Experience with CVSD patients and telemetry monitoring required
    • Skills include titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, post-cardiac procedures, and various nursing competencies
    • Smoke/nicotine free facility
    • Up to 7 hours of non-billable modules required during orientation

    This healthcare facility features a specialized Cardiovascular Unit with a 21-bed stepdown/telemetry unit that provides care for cardiac surgery patients transitioning from ICU.

    The facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and various other specialized services.

    The organization maintains high standards for cardiovascular care and utilizes EPIC charting systems to support patient care delivery.
