    NET Architect

    Position Summary:
    Retail experience is a must, rental is an advantage.
    Architect-level experience working in Engineering products that interface with hardware.
    Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
    Knowledge of Microsoft Azure platform and services, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure SQL Database.
    Experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions with high scalability, availability, and security.
    Familiarity with web development technologies, including ReactJS/NextJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
    Willing to work with Legacy systems like RentalMan, OMS systems.
    Familiarity with IOT, IOT Hub, IOT Edge or other related IOT solutions in the market.

    Project Overview :

    This project is to build a comprehensive system for scanning RFID tags, QR codes, and other identification markers on rental equipment.

    Fort Mill, SC
    Local & on-site (Hybrid)


    Responsibilities:
    Maintain and enhance .NET-based legacy applications interfacing with various hardware peripherals, such as Cameras, RFID Readers, and GPIOs.
    Manage .NET-based on-premise services, websites, and data integration processes.
    Architect and develop cloud-native applications leveraging Microsoft Azure and PaaS technologies.
    Collaborate closely with diverse teams, including product owners, architects, developers, and system administrators, to craft scalable and robust solutions.

    Facilitate communication within the development team and technical leads to ensure clear understanding of requirements, review deliverables, and coordinate smooth releases.

    Uphold the security, availability, and performance of Azure-based applications.
    Provide technical troubleshooting expertise and prompt issue resolution to support team efficiency.
    Conduct thorough code reviews to enforce coding standards and best practices.
    Stay abreast of evolving cloud services, tools, and industry best practices.
    Document code, solutions, and technical specifications meticulously.


    Experience:
    Extensive experience in developing engineering products with hardware integration, proficient in implementing required Protocol Stack.
    Demonstrated expertise in system design encompassing multi-layered architecture.
    Strong proficiency in .NET development using C# and associated frameworks.
    Familiarity with web development technologies such as ReactJS/NextJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

    Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Azure platform and services, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure SQL Database.

    Proven track record in designing and deploying highly scalable, available, and secure cloud solutions.
    Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Azure DevOps and Git.
    Knowledgeable about containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
    Sound understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
    Familiarity with IoT technologies, including IoT Hub, IoT Edge, or related solutions.
    Experience in leading diverse engineering teams across domains and geographical locations.
    Awareness of the Retail or Rental domain is advantageous.
    Understanding of RFID technology is a plus.


    Requirements:
    Masters or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot search-related issues and optimize performance using .NET tools and techniques
    Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
    Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong attention to detail
